Common questions
Can I try MedStory for free?
The Free option is planned to remain available. MedStory is currently invitation-only. A 14-day Personal trial without a payment card is planned for launch. You cannot start it today.
What’s the difference between Personal and Family?
Personal provides unlimited documents for one covered person. Family provides the same core features and unlimited documents for up to four covered people.
What’s included in Family+?
If introduced, Family+ would cover up to six people. It would have the same features as Family.
Do I pay to invite a family member?
No. Inviting someone to help manage a profile is separate from paying to cover another person’s health profile.
What happens if I cancel?
Existing information and authorised access remain available. Free plan limits apply to new activity after paid coverage ends.
Need room for more people?
Contact us to discuss your needs. There is no set price shown for additional people.
Will I see advertising on the Free plan?
No. MedStory does not sell health information or use it for third-party advertising.
Can I access MedStory on my phone?
Yes. MedStory works in a supported phone browser. There is no native mobile app yet.
Can my family and I manage the same person’s health information?
Yes. An owner can invite trusted people to a whole profile. People invited through the current sharing flow can view and edit the selected profile, but they cannot manage sharing. Access is not set for each document.
Is MedStory connected to My Health Record or my GP?
Not currently. MedStory does not automatically connect to My Health Record, a GP system or a specialist’s system.
Can I change plans later?
Plan changes are planned for launch. Public purchases and plan changes are not available yet.
Is my health information private?
Profiles are not public. The owner manages who is invited and can remove access. Read the Privacy Policy to learn about service providers, sharing and deletion requests. Read the Privacy Policy.
